about the founder
Ethan Qian-Tsuchida
Ethan is a student with a deep love for economics and finance. With a strong background in math, having earned top scores on national competitions. His interest in finance goes beyond the classroom—Ethan has shadowed finance professionals, from school directors to hospital treasury teams, gaining real-world insights into budgeting, investing, and cash flow management. Ethan led a team in the Wharton Investment Competition and has taken finance and economics courses from Harvard and the University of Colorado.
He’s particularly drawn to risk management, investment strategies, and financial planning, with a mission to help others, especially first- and second-generation immigrants, navigate personal finance in practical, everyday settings.
Outside of academics, Ethan is a dedicated swimmer, training six days a week and competing at high levels. He also plays cello in his school orchestra and raised over $3,000 for Mass General Hospital by performing during the pandemic. In his spare time, Ethan enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, combining his love of food and creativity.
